Amelia Pimlott

I think of myself as a designer/maker – someone who designs and crafts objects out of materials with their hands which is something human beings have done for as long as they have been human. I feel lucky to still be able to this in the 21st Century. It is the theatre mostly which has provided me with the opportunity always to create something new – design spaces, make puppets, strange objects – but in my education work as well, working with older people and children – creating installations and exhibitions. On this website I showcase my professional work in these areas as well as some of my personal work which includes drawing and sculpture and stop frame animation. ​​​
