Set Design         Puppet Design and Making         Set Build         Devising and Performing

Since graduating in theatre design from Nottingham Trent University in 1995, I have worked as a Set Designer, Puppet Designer and Maker, Prop Maker and Set Builder as well as devising and performing work with The Ding Foundation and the People Show. My design and puppet making work varies from faithful adaptations of children’s story books (Tove Jansson, Nick Butterworth, Mick Inkpen) to the more bizarre and curious work of The Ding Foundation – the company that I co-run with Hannah Marshall. For me there has always been a close relationship between designing and constructing things and with puppet making these processes are inextricably linked.
