Women's Refuge Project
On this project, I worked with D(omestic) A(buse) S(tops) H(ere) to create an exhibition that celebrated the work of the charity and raised awareness of their cause. I ran workshops with women and children from the refuge as well as staff and volunteers from the charity. The exhibition showcased stories of domestic abuse survivors and their hopes for a brighter future.
Magical Lands Animations
Children's support groups
As part of the Magical Lands Installation at Norden Farm, I worked with 2 community groups that provide support and activities for children in the Windsor and Maidenhead area. One was the Esteem group who support young people who have low self-esteem or are at risk of social isolation and the other was the Kickback group who work with young people in care. They created short pieces of stop frame animation using plastercine, wire and collage which I then edited together to be part of the gallery installaion.
